Bottle @ pre-GBBF shindig, August 2009. Best before September 1990. Presumably from the Silk Shropshire Stash. Hazy dark amber. Cardboard aroma. Very thin. Gone (if it was there in the first place) but just about drinkable.

Bottle 275ml.
[ BBF0990 ]. Clear light to medium amber color with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, oxidide. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is flat. [20090802]

275ml bottle. Amber colur, small head. Aroma is wooden, mildly oxidized notes, but still also some sweet caramel malty notes left. Flavour is a close clone to that. Mild grassyness.

2.5
SilkTork (5728) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - MAY 4, 2008
275ml bottle from Shropshire. Vintage 1989. Some carbonation. Gentle whiff of cardboard. Firm malty flavour with spritzy carbonation. Dry, tea like finish. Main body has sweet notes. An OK light ale.
