I was rather confused by this and I was suspicious of this, there was an ever so slight sourness and thought it was off, despite the aroma being fine. I was told it definitely wasn’t by staff in Wetherspoons Rochdale, shame. It seemed a rather light ale, summery citrusness to it on the nose. Took a long time to settle down. I stomached it though with no lasting effects. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - FEB 3, 2006

Cask Conditioned, at Smithfield’s, Manchester.
Amber nectar, slow to settle. A wonderfully hopped be. The powerful aroma easily penetrated the smoke to reward me for my exploration of Manchester. A crakin bitter.
