Golden yellow pour. Tangy hop-citrus. Right up there with some of the best DIPAs I have had. Jow (3924) - New York, USA - JUN 26, 2012
Tap at the Stagshead Greenport night. Pours much more yellow than I would have though with almost no head. tastes of flowery hops, honey sweetness, light vanilla, and pine. Slight boozy warming and a touch caramel sweetness. Nickls (2535) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - JUN 13, 2012
Tap. Finger of frothy white head; clearer rusty orange. Reserved floral and citrus hops with some sweetness. Decently hoppy, but restrained overall..fairly clean, and with a kiss of sweetness. Medium body. Just OK. MartinT (9880) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 29, 2012
My Bottom Line : BrewBoxer (2636) - New York, New York, USA - MAY 25, 2012
Soft and cuddly, this Double IPA shares lightly honeyed malts over spicy, sandy hops and their bitterness.
Further Personal Perceptions :
-A ring of foam surrounds the misty blond.
-This is not nearly as aromatic as most Double IPAs.
-A light alcohol bite accompanies the sandy hop bitterness.
-This is sweeter than expected, yet it is far from cloying.
-I’m not quite sure what they are aiming for with this brew, but at least it is competently brewed.
On tap at Rattle’n’Hum.

Sampled at rattle n hum in NYC. Strong malt flavor with a nice bitter after flavor. East coast malty with an Amarillo hop flavor. RoyceH (1199) - Hesperange, LUXEMBOURG - MAY 23, 2012
Rattle & Hum, marketed as Greenport Big Tiger IPA. Clear amber, good lace. Nose a little bit of fresh hop, nothing particularly stand outish. Mouth is hoppy, fragrant, flowery, hoppy. Average DIPA. Normal.

A blonde DIPA with a thin white head. In aroma, a light sweet malt with faint hops. In mouth, a nice grassy malt with herbal hops, more like a Imperial pils, very German hops, not bad. On tap at TAP NY, April 28, 2012.
