Growler courtesy of Andy, kick-off beer at the DC local tasting - thank you sir! Dark brown, edge head. Aroma of chocolate with a bit of smoke. Taste is chocolate and burnt coffee. Decent stuff. Leighton (21092) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 23, 2010
Draft at Barcade. Not an outstanding beer but definitely solid and right where a porter should be. Pours Dark brown with a modest off-white head. Some burnt malts in the nose but not too roasty. Flavor holds moderate sweetness, some roast, mild dryness in the tail. Medium body. I would drink again. Theydon_Bois (19200) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - AUG 13, 2012
On tap at the Cask Bar & Kitchen, Manhattan - 01/03/12.
Poured a dark brown with a tan coloured head.
On the nose - roasted malts, cocoa, coffee and a puff of smoke.
Taste as nose - add a little dark fruit, quite complex for a 4.7% ABV porter.
Medium bodied and a smooth finish.
Good well rounded and tasty porter for sub 5%! rlgk (18847) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 10, 2012

Dark, almost opaque brown color, good creamy beige head. Milky and chocolate aroma, light note of soya sauce. Light to medium bodied. Chocolaty and milky front, some caramel, low bitterness and short finish. Good taste but kind of empty. Perhaps with right food this is better.

On draught at Fette Sau. The beer is a brownish-black color with a medium creamy tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, chocolate and coffee. Light-bodied with flavors of roast malt, sweet chocolate and mild coffee. The finish is sweet with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Decent overall.
