A deep dark brown ale with a thin brown head. In aroma, a lightly spiced and herbal caramel, with light ginger notes. In mouth, a rather strange mix of chocolate, light coffee and sugar, a bit thin, not what was expected. On tap at Rattle’n’Hum, Sept 21, 2012. saxo (18301) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUL 5, 2012

Tap at the stags head. Pours black I had no idea what this was based on the name I was not thinking porter with Belgian yeast. U get fruity Belgian yeast, roasted malt, chocolate, and earthy bitterness. Pretty tasty

Draft. Dark, hoppy, yeasty, almost like a black IPA in my opinion.. pretty easy on the palate and very drinkable and thirst quenching surprisingly. Very good blipp (9275) - La Mesa, California, USA - APR 20, 2012

filled the growler up at Port Jeff Bev, drunk at RBSG - Not bad, but I’m guessing this one was a bit too long in the growler. Milk chocolate and dark malts with a touch of hops. Plenty of phenollic, belgian yeasty character and some smoke and pepper spices.
