Tap. This was a solid IPA. Poured a lovely, deep orange with a soft, white head. Aroma was big on the earthy hop front, with plenty of florals. Flavor held some citrus hop as well, in addition to a nice touch of malty sweetness to tie the whole thing together. Medium body with average carbonation. Finished clean and bitter, with some mild stickiness. Lubiere (13796) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 24, 2011
A hazed amber orange IPA with a thin off white head. A strange marmelade jam aroma, with citrus, a bit funky. In mouth, a crisp biscuitty malt over very grassy green hops, a bit dirty and grainy, medium bodied. Dry hopped with Citra. Cask at Get Real NY, March 19 2011. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAY 11, 2011
(Draught) Pours a clear golden body with a medium cream head. Aroma of light cow manure, grass, caramel, grain, and pine. Flavor of herbs, grass, florals, citrus, grain, some dill weed, and caramel malt with a bitter finish. j12601 (11000) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - SEP 30, 2010
On tap at Half Time for growler fills. Pours a clear ruby amber brown. Spicy, almost a curry note, very malty. Earthy, lots of funk. Big grapefruit and quinine on the finish. Quite bitter. blipp (9172) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAY 11, 2010
Draft. Pours orange with a white head. Citric hoppy with some floral notes and a light sweetness. Flavorwise, the hops seem to bring more bitterness than they do flavor. Citric and floral notes with a light sweetness and a bitter finish.

Sampled on tap at the brewery. Pours a transparent copper amber with a thin, creamy white head. Aroma is very IPA, citrus, pine, flower but nothing over the top. The flavor is more of the same, limey, lightly metallic. Finish is medium bodied, lasting bitterness. Not sure if they tried to put a different spin on the standard IPA or if they missed the mark. jredmond (8204) - New York, New York, USA - JUN 28, 2010
Sampled during Brew Fest NYC 2010 on Govís Island. Pours a slightly hazy yellow body with thin white lacing. Aroma is fresh, hop flavor. Mouthfeel is thin with nice hop flavor.

Aroma: Fairly solid pine front hop nose, some citrus notes, and some earth
Appearance: The pour is an amber color with an off-white head
Flavor: This beerís flavor leans toward the bitter side with just a bit of sweetness for balance
Palate: The body is medium, with a long, lingering sticky-resin finish
I liked this beer a lot. A very solid IPA from another small brewery that I got to try for the first time at Brewfest. The state of NY seems to be pretty well represented with these solid little breweries that can brew a pretty solid beer.
Growler - a nicely dry and potently bitter IPA - earthy, woody aroma - dry, biscuity flavor, with crisp, citrusy, pine-like hoppiness, especially through the super-dry finish - a bit grassy and peppery through the finish - quite tasty.
