Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a rustic semi-dark brown color with a thin white foamy to bubbly head. Quickly dissipates, sly running lace trickles into the beer.
The aroma had some nutty sweetness, light milk chocolate, subtle amounts of coffee.
The flavor combines the previously mentioned aromas with a brisk semi-sweet aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Mild carbonation. Brisk roastiness plays with the feel on my tongue.
Overall, this one was a pretty good English styled brown ale that I could have again. hivemind (933) - New York, New York, USA - FEB 19, 2013
