The aroma is like a barn, hay, horseblanket. The appearance is a gold/orange color, fairly clear, white head. The flavor is sweeter than expected, fruit, bread, light pepper. The finish is spicy, rye, pepper. Medium in body, slightly thin. Nice.

Draft @ BCTC, Ommegang Brewery. August, 8, 2015. Gold color with a slight haze. Aroma shows light spicy yeast, light fruit.

Sample at Rattle N Hum. Clear dark golden color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of herbal spices, fruit and wheat. Light to medium body with flavors of slightly funky fruit, spicy rye and wheat. The finish is fruity up front with a rye and malt aftertaste. Decent overall. Nose is soured fruits, straw, light funk, farmy notes.
Taste comprises dark soured fruits, sugars, lemon rind, straw, light spice, farmyard.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation.
