50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is cornish and light grassy. Crisp grassy and slight metallic flavoured. Light sweetness. Dry and bitter finish. Simple.

Draft. I have no idea what color this beer is, since it was served in a boring stein, but the head is light orange. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of hops. The flavor is sweet malty with light flowery notes, leading to a slightly bitter finish with just an edge of metal. The mouthfeel is very smooth.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is bready malts, fruits and some slight grassy and mild starchlike notes. Flavour is quite similar, but less starch and more metallic notes instead.

Bottled, from Landbierparadies, Nuremberg. Clear golden, firm mid sized head. Buttery bready nose. Mid sweet with medium body and creamy mouthfeel. Custard, wheat bread, butter and slight grass. Fairly low bitterness. Very harmonious and hugely drinkable.

(On tap) Clear, deep golden with an off-white head. Rather hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied with a perfect balance between lightly sweetish caramel malt and a dry, bitter hoppiness. Not your typical Helles, more like a Vollbier Hell/Landbier. 121106

Good sweetness, nice cereal notes, some meringue, light bitter straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crispy finish with moderately sweet cereal, further bitter straw, creamy meringue.
