(bottle) Hazy, orange colour with a big and quite persistent foamy white head. Sweet, yeasty and wheaty aroma with a moderate fruity note of citrus and banana with clovy spice. Medium-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy carbonation. Moderately wheat-malty and yeasty taste with a balanced fruitiness and clove phenols; medium-sweet, slightly fruity and clovy finish. Decent Weizen.

Barrel Draught at the GBBF Earl’s Court, London 09/08/2008 Banana fruit aroma. Light golden coloured and hazy in appearance. Smooth on the palate with a crisp and slightly spicy malt finish.

Draught – GBBF. A very hazy dark yellow coloured hefe with a decent slightly off-white head. The aroma is full of banana and yeast and if anything is a little overpowering. The taste is more banana and yeast. Has a reasonable length of tatse and is a little retronasal. Decent enough for the style.

50 cl bottle, BBE 30.04.2012
Aroma is sweetish and a bit floury with ripe banana and hints of floury apples. Flavour is a bit weird and watery with bubblegum and banana. Also hints of cardboard. Rather foamy palate. Drinkable.

(Draught at GBBF, London, 8 Aug 2007) Pale yellow colour withe white head. Fruity nose with notes of banana, plums and a slightly citrussy wheat aroma. Fruity taste with wheat and lemon, slightly citrussy finish. Nice and balanced, but I’ve tried more exciting hefeweizen.

500 ml bottle. Thanks Timo A!
Pours a hazy orange colour with a small white head. Aroma of mandarin orange, floral and some perfume-like notes. Flavour of wheat, mandarin orange, banana, yeast and some light hops. Medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel, decent carbonation and a light finish with wheat and some light fruity notes. Very well balanced.

motelpogo (7705) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - OCT 10, 2012
Bottled. Better than average hefeweizen - lightly hazed golden with a large head; aroma of vanilla and clove; hints of corn syrup but well balanced by light citric tang and fairy floss

On draught at GBBF, day 3 on 3 August 2006. Hazy dark gold colour. Strong banana in the aroma. More lemony and tart on the palate with light clove and vanilla accents. Quite soft mouthfeel with some sweetness. Nonetheless, a rather decent and drinkable hefeweizen, given that I’m not a big devotee of wheat beers.
