Initial reaction is hoppy but with off tones of musk, bitterness, little citrus or floral. Minimal malt overtones, a different taste, not one of my favorites.

12oz can. 10/30/17 can date. Appearance: Hazy Light golden, with a thick pillowy white head and nice lacing.
Aroma: Citrus burst of Orange and tropical mango hop notes dominate
Taste: Starts with a rich juicy citrus sweetnessthat remains smooth with little resin or grassy hop notes. Ends with a slow building moderate perceived bitterness
Mouthfeel: Medium to heavy bodied for the style, with a touch of creaminess, and a moderate carbonation. A bit of alcohol heat too.
Finish: sharp bitterness builds after the swallow and lingers, with some resinous flavor
Overall: A solid take on NEIPA, and at 60+ days old probably not the best representation of the beer when fresh. Beautiful appearance, great orange and mango aroma, and a smooth juicy flavor that balances the bitterness. Remarkably easy for a beer of this strength, though the alcohol heat provides a kick on the finish DocLock (11258) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 3, 2018
