Tap. Floral honey malt and light grass hops. Cloudy amber color with medium head. Sweet honey, orange and barley malt flavor with a moderately bitter grass hops finish. Nice - very hoppy for the style. massingasetta (781) - München, GERMANY - FEB 9, 2015
This giant bottle is truly worth it. This Kellerbier has everything that an unfiltered beer needs. This beer is beautiful and smells great. As the bottle is not the airtightest and my wife had them in a rucksack, it was slightly less carbonated. This beer is tasty and is a great example of "basement" beer. alebrewer (140) - Mentor, Ohio, USA - AUG 27, 2008
On tap at the brewery.
Better than average helles. Seems to be unfiltered. Very nice body and mild hop aroma. Very drinkable and well made.

Growler. Light fruity and flowery nose. Cloudy amber, thick eggshell head. Fruity base, fine hop aromatics. Body is somewhat thin, wellagered carbonation though. Pleasant drink. hawanna (3364) - Freising, GERMANY - AUG 19, 2012

1000ml bottle at home, Munich. Straight from the brewery. Aroma is oats, malt, bread dough, green walnut. Appearance is slightly cloudy couper with a two finger thick, fast decreasing with to light brown foam. Taste is light sour and light bitter. Good balance with a medium to strong carbonation. Subtile dryness. Good. JorisPPattyn (10072) - BELGIUM - OCT 13, 2008
Draught Very fine & dense off-white head over slightly hazy orange-copper beer. Fresh malt, fresh bread from the oven, and some faint grassy hops. Very dry, nearly bittery-spicy flavour, bit peppery and a little point of nutmeg. Medium bodied at best, grist slickness, long spicy-peppery aftertaste. Quite OK, but basic.
