Bottle. Clear pale yellow with a small white head. Citric, grains, catpiss, very light aroma. Lightly sweet, light bitterness. Light body with pearly carbonation. Okay. mjs (7470) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 29, 2017
(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 26.09.2017, at Pöstlingsberg-Schlössl, 20170529) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness and mildly grain. Palate was less than medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was thin and bitter. A too thin brew with decent finish. andrewje41 (4021) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - FEB 8, 2017
12 oz bottle poured, for a fun, random beer of the day. Picked up at Central Market. Sometimes you are just in the mood to come home and pour up a twist off, green bottle, Euro lager. I guess this is one of those days. A light, pale golden color with a lasting fizz head. Slightly sweet grains aroma. Slight hop character going on with this. Pretty refreshing. Barely sweet apple like grain, minimum plastic with this one. Clean. Easy to drink. This wasn’t bad at all. I dig it. wlf (615) - DENMARK - SEP 7, 2016
Clear golden with medium white head; aroma is malty; taste is malt forward with some hops and low bitterness floydslip (407) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 24, 2016
Pale straw colored beer with a thin foamy bright white head. Fairly weak nose of cereal grain, refined sugar, and light musky hops. Flavor is similarly mild, and pretty straight forward, with a cardboard-like bitterness bolstered by sweet light malt. Fairly standard pilsener, a bit lighter than most, but otherwise unremarkable.

Draught @ Fischer Brau, Vienna, Austria. Pours yellow with a white head, light lacings. Aroma of malt, grain, grass, hay. Flavor is light sweet, malty, hint of corn, light grain, hay. Medium body, average carbonation, light bitter finish. Nice and clean. 120816 muzzlehatch (4963) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 18, 2016
12 ounce bottle from some mediocre, smelly liquor store in Rockford that isn’t worth remembering. Pours a rather dull dark amber-gold into my König Pilsener glass at slightly above fridge temperature, leaving little head...aroma is mostly malty (biscuit - light sourdough), I don’t get the DMS that some others have mentioned; it’s pleasing enough but nothing special....rather sweet, bit of honey, reasonable malt presence at the front though it thins out quite a bit at the finish, little hop character noticeable...drinkable enough but forgettable.

It’s funny, I was drinking this regularly a couple of years ago, wasn’t rating stuff, wasn’t really looking out so much for new beers, and I was fairly happy with it. It came from a different - and more reliable - beer purveyor, but still I suspect some of it is just me, and rating. Rating makes one more critical - THINKING about it, rather than just swilling it down; and even though I had rated thousands of beers, it’s easy to get out of the habit of thinking critically. Easy to loosen one’s standards when one isn’t focusing on the same things. We could apply such standards to far more things we experience in life, and we would generally be better off I think.
Clear lighter straw color with a diminished white head. Dry malt and grassy hops aromas. Why is the first quaff of the day always seem better than what it might actually be. The first sip brought lightly toasted malt, sweet pale malt and a nice balance of bitter/acidic hops. Later sips bring out some watery areas, with grainy to doughy parts. Still a decent warm weather quenching type pils. 7/10
