UPDATED: OCT 27, 2017 Pours an amber color with thin white head. Starts off with an almost sour flavor transitioning to hints of clove and spice. After drinking it for a while the taste just becomes very boozy. Would be more interesting if it weren’t such a strong ale. drdisque (910) - Illinois, USA - NOV 24, 2016
On tap at the brewpub. Pours rich mahogany. Flavor is spicy with coffee notes and a fair amount of oak coming through. Pumpkin flavor is very mild and made milder by the aging I’m guessing. Could pass as a simple barrel aged porter or stout. Flavor lacks depth though so is in general a good beer but not exceptional. SG111 (2205) - New York, USA - OCT 14, 2016
