Can. Pours a hazy orange with a big sudsy head and aromas of tangerines that might be a bit past their expiration date. Flavor is medicinal oranges with a boozy edge to it and just nasty as far as I’m concerned. Whatever the intent here, it didn’t work. Blech! mvp (271) - Harper Woods, Michigan, USA - FEB 3, 2017
Poured hazy burnt orange from 12 oz. can. off white head. Aroma of apricot/orange. A little off balanced. Finishes a little bitter. demitriustown (1192) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - JAN 22, 2017
12 oz can: Aroma has got resin-like hop notes with a medium citrus nose. Appearance is a golden color with a slight reddish hue with a frothy white head that diminishes into a soapy white film. Taste is medium bodied with the clementine notes only peeking through in the backing. Hop notes with maybe a slight bread note of malt poking through those very prevalent hops. Palate is full bodied with a sticky texture, medium carbonation and a lingering citrus note in the finish. Overall, Decent stuff but nothing to write home about. UPDATED: JAN 17, 2017 Can. Amber orange with small head. Malty and overly sweet. Brown sugar and caramel along with some booze. Light citrus nature. Moderate hops. Not my preference in IPAs. SG111 (2166) - New York, USA - JAN 13, 2017
Canned 12/01/16. Pours very dark orange, copper color. Aroma is pine, lots of sweet sugar, some orange citrus, lots of caramel too, big malt body, that high abv coming through with sugary sweetness. Flavor is more sugary sweetness, caramel, big malt body, some citrus. Quite sticky sweet and sugary. Fairly full bodied with not too much carbonation. It’s nothing special. It’s a midwest IPA. Not much balance on this one. Basically just a malt bomb, not seeing the clementine, frankly. Not bad, I kind of enjoy the sweetness, actually but it’s easier for me to treat this like a hoppy barleywine than a IIPA.

Pours a dark copper with a foamy white head. Aroma is syrupy sweet orange. Flavor is the same sweet orange with grassy notes. Has a medium body with some carbonation. A bit much on the orange flavor. milewide (2355) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - DEC 31, 2016
Leans malty and sweet. Slightly cloudy orange color. Average head. Aroma and taste are slight fruit. j12601 (13472) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - NOV 27, 2015
On tap at the brewery. Pours a relatively clear amber with a medium sized white head. Sweet malt and citrus on the nose. Medium bodied, big sticky malt with earthy hops behind them. Citrus, stick and bright. Long malt and lingering grapefruit hops on the finish with warming alcohol making a brief appearance at the end. Big and tasty. jacobrm (39) - - JUL 12, 2015
A little too malty. Still. Dry well done.

On tap: The aroma consists of moderate citrus, light-moderate caramel, and light grapefruit. It’s a transparent dark amber with a small off-white head that fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. There are some soapy rings left on the sides of the glass with each sip. The flavor starts with moderate citrus/orange. There is a good dose of caramel in the middle. The finish has mild grapefruit, tangerine, and a touch if herbal notes. It’s medium bodied with mild carbonation and a somewhat sticky mouthfeel. Overall, it’s decent, but the flavor profile is more Barley Wine than IIPA.
