UPDATED: DEC 14, 2017 Pours black with a tan and creamy head. Upfront you get a nice toasted coconut flavor with a hint of a creamy vanilla. Very nice beer. rumproasts (6052) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - OCT 27, 2017
can. Black with one finger head. I doubt there are many coconut beers that I wouldn't like, and this isn't one of them. Medium+ body. Plenty of chocolate malt. Hints of vanilla and moderate coconut. Yummy.

Poured into pint glass from can. Aroma of slight coconut and spices. Dark brown color with large light brown head. Coconut seems to dominate on initial sip. roasty flavor that finishes bitter. chucklemation (1813) - Royal Oak, Michigan, USA - MAR 15, 2017
Pours a dark brown with a foamy off-white head. Aroma is coconut, vanilla, toffee, and caramel. Flavor is coconut, vanilla, caramel, and some roast notes. The coconut almost gives a bourbon character. Softly carbonated with a light body. Very good! SG111 (2167) - New York, USA - FEB 24, 2017
Tap at Clubhouse BFD. Pours black, creamy tan head. Aroma is caramel, coconut, vanilla, little fruity. Flavor is coconut, artificial fruit/cherry, vanilla, cocoa powder. It’s a little artificial, and way too strong/sweet, with a thin body, but still ain’t terrible.

16 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 2/9/2017. Pours crystal clear very dark brown color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big milk chocolate, toasted coconut, vanilla, caramel, cream, brown sugar, cocoa, and brown bread; with light toffee, coffee, dark fruit, and roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt, coconut, vanilla, and lactose notes; with great strength. Taste of big milk chocolate, toasted coconut, vanilla, caramel, cream, brown sugar, cocoa, and brown bread; with light toffee, coffee, dark fruit, and roast/toasted earthiness. Slight herbal/roast bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of milk chocolate, toasted coconut, vanilla, caramel, cream, brown sugar, cocoa, brown bread, light toffee/coffee, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, coconut, vanilla, and lactose flavors; with zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Minimal dryness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/velvety, and slightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is an awesome coconut milk stout! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, coconut, vanilla, and lactose flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. Nicely rich with an awesome mouthfeel for the modest ABV. A highly enjoyable offering. walleye (1102) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - FEB 20, 2017
