porterhouse (1580) - Boothbay, Maine, USA - MAY 7, 2008
(330 ml bottle from <A HREF=http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/maine/augusta/l target=blank>Lou’s Beverage Barn) Pours clear apricot-amber with one finger of slightly off-white head. Startlingly clear for a Belgian beer. Aroma is yeasty and sweet. Mouthfeel is fairly smooth and maybe a touch syrupy. Flavor is yeasty and moderately sweet, that’s about all there is to say. Maybe finishes a touch hot. Doesn’t really pull you in too many directions but decent enough I guess.

bottle 330 ml. dark blond colour. white head. I like the double better. it isn’t bad, but also not a winner.

Epeefencer (6) - Sellersville, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 30, 2008 does not count
A nice introductory Belgian Ale. Golden orange color that pours with a full white head that laces well. Crisp clean flavor with a hint of Black Cherry. A nice drinkable refreshing Blagian.

Lothore (647) - California, USA - APR 27, 2008
Pours with a huge white head that dissipates quickly leaving lots of lacing. It is a light orange hue. It smells spicy and of sweet fruits. Tastes of sweet fruits, banana and finishes very clean. The mouthfeel is a bit thin, and very carbonated. It is refreshing and the taste was fairly good so it was pretty easy to drink.

Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - APR 25, 2008
Pours clear gold with a white head. There is absolutely no sediment in this bottle so it is not bottle conditioned. This is also apparent on the flavor profile that is vegetal and bland. The nose yields some hints of what a tripel should have, but really, this was a piss poor example of the style.

FishManLA (337) - Abita Springs, Louisiana, USA - APR 22, 2008
UPDATED: APR 23, 2008 Brilliant golden color with a fluffy white persistent head and nice lacing. Fruity nose. Bready, malty flavor with a sweet malty finish.
