Had at Glunz Global Beer Expo XIX. Pours a clear dark brown with a decent tan head that leaves good lacing. Aroma was weak, but did get some molasses and toffee. Very sweet, and left a sticky, syrupy finish. This was a medium bodied beer. Not a bad Dubbel.
A heavy beer with a full body and a good load of sweetness and alcohol, that can be felt strongly. Mix of aromas with nothing really standing out. Not bad, but I would prefer less boozyness and instead a more distinct taste. kybo92 (64) - Zadar, CROATIA - JUL 19, 2017
Tamno jantarne boje, lagane gorčine s primjesom okusa banane. Nista posebno, kupljeno u intersparu... Jesper86 (137) - NETHERLANDS - JUL 15, 2017
Banana. Caramel. Maybe slightly sweet. Balanced. Decent dubbel beer.............. metalspice (966) - Jevnaker, NORWAY - JUL 15, 2017
Brunt med fint skum. Noe sjokolade og nøtter i duften, men et skjemmende hint av søt mais ødelegger både duft og smak. Ingen højdare. phfyysik (1272) - Tartu, ESTONIA - JUL 10, 2017
0,5L can. Pours caramel brown with medium beige head. Aroma is caramel, sourish notes, toffee, citrus, watermelon, some plums. Taste is caramel, cocoa, milk, coconut, some wooden notes, caramel cake, light sweetness, a bit watery. Nice beer!

330 ml bottle - pours dark amber-brown with a substantial meringue tan cap - aromas are spicy, toffee, toasted grains and light leafy grassiness, some fusel is detectable. Rounded mellow character - flavor is toasty with light caramel tones some hazel nut, just enough hops in the background to avoid sweetness becoming prominent, clean toasty lightly bitter finish - tasty satisfying bartlebier (3982) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - JUL 2, 2017
33cl, BL sampler 2017. - Vinsanto cassonade, toast and chocolate-coated raisins hover over an empty core of simple barley sugars, making for an almost Coca Cola sweet drinkability. Dryish like cassonade brune - no abv fumes or stickiness, thankfully. Well-cushioned by a wide range of hearty meals. caribou43 (1024) - Lausanne/Sevilla/Lima, SWITZERLAND - JUN 28, 2017
I bought this bottle in the boissons center,at Montagny. I drank it yesterday with my wife during a night of storm. In my point of view, it is an average beer, generally I prefer the grimbergen than the leffe. The body is brown and troubled, thin head, average carbonation. It is a classical dubbel, for a macrobrewery, this one is ok, easy to drink, light, going well for these days. The taste is malty, bready, some touch of apricot, a bit watery, some hop, I could say relatively sweet. vinivini (2410) - Gomel, BELARUS - JUN 27, 2017
Tap. Misty chestnut brown with moderate creamy head. Huge dried fruit on nose. Also caramel, toast and yeast. Medium body. Light sweet taste. Very fruity. Solid dark malts. Light bitterness. This one does not reach the highest style standards. Yet it is pretty good. NiklasT (38) - SWEDEN - JUN 26, 2017
Apperance dark amber. Aroma fruity and sweet with a slight touch of acid from the yeast. Medium carbonation. Marked sweetness in the taste, raisins, plums and dates. Very slight bitterness at the end.
