Grimbergen Blanche is a true wheat beer in the most traditional sense. The pale yellow Blanche is cloudy, just as you would expect from a wheat beer. Notes of citrus and light carbonation add character to the creamy palate and make Blanche an excellent thirst quencher.

Draft. An unclear yellow beer with a thin lazing white head. The aroma has notes of sweet malt, lots of wheat, and coriander as well as light notes of lemon. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat and lemon as well some coriander, leading to a dry wheaty, lemony, and spicy finish.

Bottled. Hazy pale yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is coriander, some soap and wheat. Flavour is quite much the same. Also some quite citrusy notes.

Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. Cloudy pale straw colour, creamy head. Concentrated coriander and lemon juice aroma. Medium sweet with rounded mouthfeel and meium body. Orangey and heavily spicy. Really fruity with lots of coriander. Usually I am not a fan of strong witbiers, but I must admit to fancy this one.

Bottle at Tom’s Tasting, April 2009. Very spicy, rather sweet. I found it a bit sickly. Inoffensive but I thought it had more in common with Kronenbourg Blanche than a traditional Belgian Wit. Surprised to see how high this has scored.

Muddy pale blond color. Strange aroma, light wheat and chewing-gum. Sweeter than a typical Belgian Wit, with a light sweet oranges fruitness, correct bitterness. Drinkable.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is pale golden. Aroma and taste are yeast, citrus, wheat malt, grass and hops. Nice and fresh.

Bottle at the Spotify tasting. Passionfruit aroma, some cardboard in mouth. Hazy pale gold colour. It’s not awful, bit of passionfruit syrup in mouth on the flavour.
