Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is light to medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, corn starch, husks), lightly hoppy (herbs), with a light note of detergent. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, husky. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
A very clunky, husky, watery, flavorless rendition. Nothing German about it, unless you only compare with the absolute worst industrial German examples. Drain pour. notalush (5875) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 5, 2012
Clear straw color - nose of honeyed maltiness and light noble hops - light body, but fairly creamy in the mouth - a nice ms of light esters, medium sweet honey character and grassy hop notes - a little sweet for a Helles, seeming a bit more like a heller bock, but still a good brew.
