A love a well made dark mild, which this is, for the most part - very dry, with a lot of dry roasted nut character, light cocoa, light fruitiness - a touch of maple sweetness on the tail end, as well as lightly fruity hops - fairly well done. onceblind (10095) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 16, 2012
Clear dark nutty brown with a thin beige head. Nutty and caramelly aroma with some chocolate tones and toasty biscuit aromas. Taste was kinda the same with some sweet roasty caramel, some nuttiness and a nice addiction of light chocolate tones. The palate is a little light, but that comes with the style territory I guess. cubs (10675) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUN 12, 2012
Tap @ brewery. This was described to me as an English-style Brown. Pours a transparent, reddish brown appearance with a foamy, tan head. Fairly roasty, dark caramel malty, a bit nutty, a touch buttery aroma. Body is a little thin. Sweet, somewhat nutty, a little watery, caramel, light toffee flavor. A little thin and watery but not offensive in any way.
