Nice pour in weiss glass with a cloudy, mahogany color and a moderate, creamy, beige head with good retention and minimal lace left. The nose is typical with banana, clove, and bubblegum, toasty caramel, slight raisin, and some spicy cinnamon. The flavor is similar with clove and cinnamon, light chocolate, still banana, and just a bit of caramel. The palate is more than medium, nearly lively, slightly syrupy, and creamy. The finish is slightly cloying, still very clovey and banana-y, and spice lingering. Nice attempt but lacking any balance and refinement. Pleasant enough to drink but not great.

I bought a Howler of it at Liquor Shed.
It pours a clear reddish brown with a small and quickly receding head of foam. Lacing is near non existent.
Smells spicy with some cloves and nutmeg and very malty overall.
Malty sweet with lightish cloves and nutmeg..very smooth and somewhat warming.
Medium body with light carbonation.
This fits the style line to a T. Well done Grimm Brothers. arminjewell (9581) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - NOV 15, 2013
Pour on tap at the brewery, 10% weizrnbock? Hazy red pour with white head, aroma is vinegar, sour fruit, some earth, lemon, touch of caramel and biscuit, think it would be called a sour. Taste is sour fruits, garbage, trash into some sweet caramel, finishing bitter, sour. Yikes. gunnfryd (14807) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 11, 2013

At Avery Beer Fest 2013--murky dark copper with a thin white head. Very yeasty aroma with loads of heavy bready tones, and a honey-like sweetness. Flavor is malty sweet with bready yeast tones, some caramel, and something slightly earthy on a semi sweet lingering finish. swanmann (764) - Nompton, Oklahoma, USA - MAR 20, 2013
It pours slightly hazy iced tea color from the bottle, with fluffy gradually dissipating tan head. Nice sweet aroma, banana, caramel, toffee, some booze, spicy notes, and dark fruits. The flavor is sweeet, dark fruits with light tartness in the finish, some fairly syrupy caramel, but the carb is adequate to pull it off. Light roastyness and just a touch of warmth round out this dark weizen.

Hazy medium amber orange colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate yeasty, glue, phenol, fruity, yeast, bubble gum. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, alcohol, caramel, yeasty, bubble gum. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Hazy amber with off-white head. Aroma dominated by clove, with some honey seeping in as well. Muted wheat character gives way to banana flavours. A distinct finish of banana bread. Geokkjer (7627) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 16, 2013

Pours slightly hazy amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, wheat, alcohol, banana and yeast. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle, 22oz. A murky orange-brown beer with some off-white bubbles as a head. Phenolic nose with alcohol, banana and caramel maltyness. The flavor is malty and phenolic, with lots of banana, and some faint lemony hints. Rather sweetish. Full body, almost sticky, with a nice carbonation. Not a very nice weizen bock this one. 130216
