Pours a golden cloudy yellow. Aromas of fruit, grass, yeast, a touch of hops, and some funk. Acidic with great yeasty and fruity flavors. Nice little hop touch on the tail.

[ keg ][ 4oz ][ @Max’s Sour Fest ][ $? ][murky straw, tepid with thin white ring. Heavy lacto-tangerine Grimm profile, plenty of soft citric peach and tangerine, jowls burning. Thin bodied with heavy acid, stinging with decent carbonation. Decent balance, thin with heavy acid presence.

Keg at the Royale - St. Louis. Pours hazy deep yellow with a frothy, white head. Lovely aroma, loads of peach, melon, mango, hints of pine. Light sweet flavour with mellow acidity, lemony tang, more peach. Light bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Super clean on the finish, pretty dry, with further citrusy tartness, restrained funk, low acidity, ripe peach, apricot, melon, tangerine. Great beer. Extremely drinkable.

CanIHave4Beers (4236) - Pouring Bus, Iowa, USA - MAR 28, 2016
On Draught
Pours a pale yellow color, reasonably hazy, with a small head and some lacing on the glass.

The aroma is all sorts of grapefruit & wet limestone... Maybe a little unripe strawberry, some light funk... Some lemon and general citrus rind... Bright & inviting.

The flavor is a good balance of hop bitterness, earthy character, some minerality & a good burst of fruity hoppiness. It’s tart & lemony... but just mildly sour. The beer is pretty darn dry, but that works really well with this flavor profile.

Great

Pouring at EBF 2016. Pours a hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Soft acid on the nose, musk. Medium-bodied, tart acid, funk. Big and funky, brett dryness, sauvignon grape notes, very nice.

brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - MAR 7, 2016
On tap @ Caps & Taps. Hazy yellow beer with a soapy white head. This is my kind of beer. Tart citrus and tropical fruits all the way. Really nice lime, grapefruit, passion fruit, and mango. Just enough sweetness to it. Nice pineapple juice thing going on as well. Fairly minimal malt profile. Pretty dry and more bitterness than I’d want, but otherwise I dig it.

Draft. Hazy orange yellow color, big white head. Nice aroma of fresh orange peel, subtle spice. Tate is softly sour raw bread, citrus. Loving these hoppy sours.
