Our recipe for Forcefield has changed a lot from batch to batch. This year’s is similar to last year’s — a single IPA focused around Azacca and Columbus. But this time we used Cryo hops, for a megadose of lupulin oils! The result is an intensely hoppy and clean beer with unique notes of fresh chlorophyll, strawberry, sherbet, and big hop resin. Very “green.” Drinkability through the roof.

(On tap @ Himmeriget, Copenhagen, July 7/17) Pours lightly hazed pale orange with a lacy white head. Notes dominated by an air of very fresh, leafy weed from a spicier, less dank strain, feeling very "green" on the whole, apparently something they claim in their own blurb, with supporting notes of lemon sherbet and red berries. The malt body is light and relatively dry, a little crackery or bready, with a fairly low bitterness and lingering weedy green notes. Medium bodied for style with softer carb, it was somewhat unfair to have this after OH DIPAs as it felt light in comparison. Solid job, though I’d probably prefer to vape something with these characters rather than drink it...
