COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Palme (4811) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 9, 2013
From corked a 0.75l bottle @ Bergen Ølfestival 2013. As good as crystal clear in their glass pale cider color and no head. Smells lovely apply, some clear acidity but also some nice sweetness going on here. Quite in harmony. Apple zest, the green kind is definitely here. So mild, but not at all tasteless! It’s really hard to identify the alcohol here, so don’t leave this alone at the breakfast table. A ton of flavor, all in all quite a nice cider. 06.08.2013

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 07.09.2013, 0,75l bottle sampled @ Bergen Ølfestival:
No head. Aroma is slightly fresh fruity, yellow apples, hay, overripe berries. Taste is slightly dry and boozy, overripe apples, hay, sorrel, oak, overripe berries. Dry mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Small, white head. Fair lacing. Clear, light yellow body. Moderate bitter. Light to medium palate.

ClubGonzo (5670) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 9, 2011
Sample @ Hardanger Frukt og Siderfestival, Øystese. Light golden body, flat with no head. Nose is calvados-like apple tones with hints of wood and yellow apples. Taste is more like green and red apples, hints of alcohol, wood and green leaves. Nicely balanced, and despite the near-flat body (which I don’t normally like in a strong cider) I did enjoy this one a lot.
