Grisette Blanche belongs to the rich family of Belgian white beers. It is therefore very refreshing in summer. However, it remains a full-bodied, savoury beer offering lots of contrast. Its head is typical of wheaty beers - creamy and compact - with an opaque, hazy appearance.

Bottle at home. Pours a hazy dull yellow colour with a medium whipped eggwhite-like head. Fine aroma of grass, lemon, nice coriander and some belgian yeast. Has a light flavour of hay and coriander, and a nice lemon touch in the end, and is a bit dry. Has a slick mouthfeel, and a light bitterness. The aroma is nice but the flavour is more careful. A decent witbier.

On tap at Tor Bar in Tokyo. Light in color with very little head. Peach and soap on the nose. Peach lingers on the taste and palette. Overall a tasty, drinkable beer.

Bottle from LDW, Eke. Hazy yellow colour, white foam. Bready and malty, notes of citrus. Bit spicy, coriander? Not the best witbier.

Idiosynkrasie (7711) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - OCT 24, 2016
250ml bottle. Cloudy, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Initially pungent, spicy aroma, notes of lemon zest and coriander, a touch of lime, wheaty background. Taste is moderately sweet wheaty and fruity, notes of apricot, mandarine, a spicy touch of coriander; watery passages, prickling carbonation.

25cl bottle, pours hazy pale yellow colour with a big creamy egg white head. Aroma of citrus fruit and some soap. Flavors of malts, citrus, pineapple, orange zets and hints of white pepper. Very nice a refreshing.

0.33 bottle.
A hazy, pale yellow color with a small, white head of normal retention. Aroma of bubblegum, spices, and yeasts - surprisingly simple but pleasant. Taste of bubblegum, vanilla, yeasts, spices, and a mix of few other elements which I find hard to distinguish. A medium body, a slick texture, and an average carbonation. Finish is long and exactly the same as the flavor. Overall it is a decent if standard beer.

MBlessing (1386) - Württemberg, GERMANY - JUL 6, 2016
Helles trübes gelb üppiger schaum, Geruch recht klassisch koriander und citrus, Geschmack recht fruchtig auch koriander und recht hefig, nicht schlecht

Tastes like a church. Crispy. Decent tasting but forgettable. generic taste w.a sourish twist. wWouldn t search for it specifically when beer shopping.
