COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Grisette Blonde is a pale ale that is very refreshing in summer. When drunk at a moderate temperature, it releases aromas of a richness that it is seldom found in other beers of this strength. Its head is smooth and white. It has a light yellow colour.

UPDATED: NOV 26, 2016 From very old - and very limited - notes. Blonde thirst-quencher with sweet main taste, malty, fruity, bit aromatic, sugary accent, soft aromatic hop bitterness in the finish. Actually not bad, I should have re-rated this while I still had the chance. In any case, this little beer embodied the original ’grisette’, which was a very early form of ’Belgian blonde’ made for miners in French-speaking parts of Belgium a century ago (often linked to saison), so it has a certain amount of history behind it as well. Surprised it is not made anymore.

Een doodgewoon blond biertje waar er 13 van in een dozijn zijn, met weinig smaak aan

Poured a golden amber in color with soft white head. Nose is spicy. Taste is sweet. Palate is dominated by coriander and cloves. [email protected]

33cl @ home, from Le marché de Nathalie Bouillon; pours golden with big white foam; almost no carbonation; malty smell; taste is grainy, watery, malty. Nothing special.

9/VII/13 - 33cl bottle from Caprice & Délice @ home - BB: 28/V/14 (2013-617)

Clear blond yellow beer, big aery white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, some citrus, hay, little grassy, sugary, fine hop smell reminding me of Duvel, so I’m thinking Saaz? MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: little sweet, grains, fruity impressions, bitter hops. Aftertaste: some citrus, bitter hops, little fruity, peaches, nice bitter ending. This could very well pass for a Belgian style IPA, I think. Very good session beer.

Flöska. Thanks for sharing Cecil. Hazy yellow. Nice big white ehad, creamish like. Yeasty soapy malty lightly fruity and spiced aroma. Ok mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet with yeast, malt, bit fruit. Mild to medium bitterness.

Bonne petite bière, une blonde légère et agréable. Pas trop forte ni trop marquée. Bien à déguster en ouverture.
