Grisette Blonde is a pale ale that is very refreshing in summer. When drunk at a moderate temperature, it releases aromas of a richness that it is seldom found in other beers of this strength. Its head is smooth and white. It has a light yellow colour.

BlackHaddock (7956) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 9, 2012
Brown 25cl bottle, best before April 2008, drank July 2007. Poured into one of my Corsendonk tulip glasses. It is a slightly hazy golden colour with a good white foaming head. The aroma is yeasty with a sweetness, not unlike a freshly cut wheat or barley smell. The taste is a lot sharper than I was expecting and a whole lot more sour than most Belgian blondes I’ve had over the years. The tangy feel in the taste stays in the mouth and lingers well for a beer of 4.5%. There is no great depth to the flavours, but it is a well crafted drink. I found this beer to be very interesting and will seek it out again when next in Belgium, well worth getting a bigger bottle, if I see one.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!

Bottle 25cl, a yellow beer with medium head. Aroma is sweet and bit citrus like, grassy and peppery hops, some orange peel notes too, body is near a belgian wit, coriander notes, too lemony, boring.

kappldav123 (6151) - GERMANY - JUL 9, 2011
Bottle looks very simple but okay. Beer in the glass very light, small head. Starts very mild, almost washy, soapy-moldy, some lemon notes. Finish still mild with a salty touch. Too unbalanced.
