COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Scintillating, fresh and delicately flavoured, Grisette Fruits des Bois is a light, refreshing beer that is brewed with the best malt and wheat. This blend creates a riot of sweet yet slightly bitter tastes redolent of wild berries and other exquisite fruits of the forest.

0,25L bottle (from beerExpress, Tallinn). Pours red with pink head. The head stays for a moment. Aroma is rotten fruits, sweetness, caramel. Flavor follows the nose, but has also some metallic notes. Overall: not good.

Hazy ruby pink, light contrasting white ringed head. Tart, earthy and acidic juice cordial. Initial taste is richly sweet, off balanced and uninitiated fruitiness. Drying, decent carbonation. Weird pacey sweet fruit finish and dry sticky sweet linger. Brassy bitter. 25cl bottle.

Bottle. 3.5%. Best before 16.07.14; 7 months past. Pours a hazy dark amber, with a pinkish head. Aroma is a blend of berries and cooked vegetables. Horrendous. Cereals in the background. Flavour is overly sweet, almost sugary, with berries and more cooked vegetables. Quite bad. Dryish finish. Overall quite bad, due to the cooked vegetables, otherwise it might be drinkable. 28.02.15.

Rood bier met schuim. Smaak is licht zoet en weinig vrucht. kan eigenlijk geen bosvruchten smaak ontdekken. Niet bijzonder.

pinky foamy head with distinct black berry flavors and bitter hints. hazy light ruby colored body. tastes like juice with little carbonation and surprisingly no bitterness. not too sweet either.

Alengrin (5087) - BELGIUM - AUG 19, 2014
Fruit beer aromatized with forest fruit extracts, not very original as Timmermans and Anker, among others, already did that too. Lilac foam, deep purplish red colour, sweet and artificial aroma of blueberry, raspberry and strawberry extracts, lemonade-like, grenadine, few other things. Very sweet and artificial taste, sugary, light mouthfeel, slight tartness. Again a horrible witbier-based soda pop.

Een lekker verfrissend fruitbier voor op warme dagen te drinken. Een aanrader
