COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Scintillating, fresh and delicately flavoured, Grisette Fruits des Bois is a light, refreshing beer that is brewed with the best malt and wheat. This blend creates a riot of sweet yet slightly bitter tastes redolent of wild berries and other exquisite fruits of the forest.

Alengrin (5382) - BELGIUM - AUG 19, 2014
Fruit beer aromatized with ’forest fruit’ extracts, not very original as Timmermans and Anker, among others, already did that too. Lilac foam, deep purplish red colour, sweet and artificial aroma of blueberry, raspberry and strawberry extracts, lemonade-like, grenadine, few other things. Very sweet and artificial taste, sugary, light mouthfeel, slight tartness. Again a horrible witbier-based soda pop.

Een lekker verfrissend fruitbier voor op warme dagen te drinken. Een aanrader

Red colour, pink foam. Medium carbonation. Very sweet fruit beer, artificial sweeteners, sugar and red candy. Not very well balanced. Some sour hints and light bitterness in the finish.

25cl bb03/2015. Basically a decent quality supermarket-level cassis, strawberry and raspberry jam poured into a generic wit. Fluffy, yet bogged down by artificial sweeteners before it departs into a refreshing direction, perfumed rather than tasteful. Nothing offensively bad, mother’s favourite over many a syrup beer concoction.

Bottle Pours dark pink , big white head fades instantly . Smell is unintense , sweet . Taste is very sweet . Sugary , fruitsyrups . Rather high carbo . Very doubtfull there is even 1 piece of natural fruit used here . Very chemical .

On tap at Moeder Lambic. Deep cloudy red pour with pink foam. Aroma is fruity, blueberry raspberry, really fruity, jam, a bit of rotten fruit. Taste is sweet, fruity, tropical fruit, lots of berries, kind of reminiscent of Timmermans woodvruchten. Palate is medium bodied. Not very good, but not as bad as the ratings.

Leichter DMS-Geruch, der aber auch von den Waldfrüchten kommen kann. Im Geschmack dann eine seltsame Restsüße. Süßstoff? Leicht astringieren

Bottle. Cloudy purple. Stinky, a little barf aroma, sweet taste with some pickle juice sourness. Med. body, sleek, mildly carbonated, sweet, candy finish.
