From a bottle. Pours a clear light mahogany with an ecru head. Caramel aroma. Flavors of dank grass. Just ok. kaser (6213) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 1, 2015
These English beers suck. Poured from draft at the Grittys taproom in Portland Maine. Orange. With no head. Yuck Drake (13637) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 5, 2015
LSAT Freedom Trip #45. Keg at the Auburn location. Clear copper, thin creamy white head, decent retention. Aroma of herbal hops and toasted malt. The taste is caramel, toasted malts, floral hops. Medium bodied, high carbonation. DiarmaidBHK (4785) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 3, 2015
Sample at brewpub. Pours golden with no head. Doesn't leave much lacing. Not much on the nose. More malt notes on the tongue then hop ones. Finished clean. Very dull interpretation of style.

Light caramel malt aroma, reminds me of an English pale ale. Clear copper body topped with light covering for a head. Moderate caramel nut taste with lots carbonation. Dry finish with a touch of sourness. Felt kind of average for the style. Seems to come up short. I would have added something for a subtle dab something sweet.

On tap at the brewpub. A clear, dark golden beer topped by a small off-white head. The aroma is a bit cellar-ish, bready and malty, with a fruity touch. Medium body, very soft and quite dry. Decent bitterness in the mouth, with bread and fruityness. Short finish. Quite boring, too British. 150609 Meilby (11366) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 10, 2015

Pours hazy golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, floral and some fruitiness. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long malty, floral and fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.
Not a good start to my dirty dozen! Pours decent enough - cloudy copper with a white head that leaves some lacing. The aroma is highly bready w/ some malt. The taste is light malt w/ just a hint of bitterness but somehow not all that great on the palate. Not really even sessionable w/ the lack of flavor - not good! tfontana (950) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - APR 25, 2015
Bottle from Epsom Circle Market. Aroma is strong initially of sparkling wine, then yields to bready malt. Appearance is beautiful clear sparkling gold with thick creamy white head with good retention and light but attractive lacing. Taste is straight up the middle medium to heavy sweet malt--a little strong, even for my taste. Palate is extremely thin, light body with surprisingly little carbonation given the amount of sparkling. Abrupt dry finish. Overall, this is a very attractive looking beer that has a fairly strong aroma without complexity, is overly sweet and has nothing to offer the palate. Not even really a great session beer. alexsdad06 (10265) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 30, 2014
Bottle from a friend from notes. Pours a clear dark golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have pale toasted malts, bready, grass, orange citrus, mild bitterness, very basic pale ale.
