[Cask at GBBF 2004] An amber beer with no head. The aroma is sweet grassy combined with notes of oranges. The flavor is sweet with notes of peach and alcohol running over the tongue leading to a dry hoppy end. A boring beer. Leighton (21296) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 27, 2013
Keg at the Portland branch. Pours clear gold with a fine, creamy white head. Grainy malt nose, some leaves, orange rind. Light to ,Edith sweet flavor, mild bitter pine needles, some leaves, a bit of ripening orange. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with very faint citrus, leaves, pine. Again, a very basic beer. Oakes (17685) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 6, 2003
Bright, light amber colour. Toasty, fruity hops and Ringwood esters. Crisp, toasty body. Blackberry esters noted. The finish is quick, slightly fruity and somewhat refreshing. One of those deja vu beers. yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 10, 2015
On tap at the brewpub. A clear, dark golden beer topped by a small off-white head. The aroma is a bit cellar-ish, bready and malty, with a fruity touch. Medium body, very soft and quite dry. Decent bitterness in the mouth, with bread and fruityness. Short finish. Quite boring, too British. 150609 MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - OCT 6, 2010
Draught at the brewpub. Mild fruity aroma. Hazy light amber colour. The flavour is slightly grainy with a mild, refreshing grassy hop note.

Bottle from Liz. Pours light golden amber with a slight white head. Light citrus and caramel aromas. Med body. Thickish feel, so maybe towards full. There’s some caramel, and some citrus, but not all that much, and it’s really only bitter enough to avoid being sweet. It doesn’t have that roasty APA malt, and it’s not bitter in my book. Kind of like some of those other beers from Shipyard - KBC and Seadog. Like they didn’t want to use a lot of ingredients to make a statement. Tmoney99 (14495) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - DEC 7, 2008
Bottle from World of Beer, Clearwater, FL.
Poured clear amber color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate grainy hoppy and small malt aroma. Medium body with flat carbonation. Medium bitter flavor with a medium bitter finish of moderate duration.
My expectations where met with a drinkable beer. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JAN 3, 2006
(12oz bottle, best by March 2006) Clear apple juice body topped by medium white head. Aroma is medium sweet, floral, some orange, caramel, bread. Taste is medium sweet, seltzer, light floral. Watery light body. Lubiere (13915) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 26, 2007
A golden ale with a thick white head, quickly dissipating. Aroma is strong carmel and butterscotch, with emphasis on butter....In mouth, a sweetish malt comes, with notes of berries, and strong butter in finale. Pleasing at first, cloying at second, dissapointing in final. Bottle from Party Source, Syracuse. Drake (13741) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 5, 2015
LSAT Freedom Trip #45. Keg at the Auburn location. Clear copper, thin creamy white head, decent retention. Aroma of herbal hops and toasted malt. The taste is caramel, toasted malts, floral hops. Medium bodied, high carbonation.
