This is one of my favorite summer ales. I had it on tap and out of a bottle in Maine at the brew Pub. It is very clean and refreshing, It pours yellow. It has a different taste then most summer beers. It does not have the over powering citrus flavor like most but has a nice hop taste with a slight citrus finish. This is a very good beer that would be good for a session oteyj (2139) - New Hampshire, USA - AUG 22, 2008
Pours yellow with small white head. Aroma is sweet malt, and some grain. Flavor is astringent and reminiscent of metal and grain. Palate is thin and watery. Wholly disappointing. Boutip (6374) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 21, 2008
Bottle: Poured a golden color beer with a light foamy head with minimal retention and no lacing. Aroma of medium sweet malt is somewhat boring. Taste is also somewhat bland with some light notes of medium sweet malt with no material notes of hops. This one is quaffable and refreshing but still too bland to be one of my summer beer. urnamesucks (92) - New York City, New York, USA - AUG 20, 2008
Had it with a meal at Gritty’s Freeport. Not my favorite summertime drink. dlovell2 (2133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - AUG 16, 2008
Gold color with white head. Malt aroma with hops scent. Malt start with hop finish.

I have no idea why, but there is foul tasting finish to this otherwise light hopped light tasting summer ale. Just awful, really bad. jgb9348 (6250) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - AUG 11, 2008
Clear golden coloured body with an orange tint. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong malt backbone with some lighter spices and a tiny touch of hops. Alcohol and a dose of yeast also noticeable with more perfumey tastes coming strong afterwards. Overall, a good and refreshing beer, nothing amazing, but good to sample! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York on 12-July-2008. jcr (2705) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - AUG 10, 2008
Draft at McKays Public House. Light and crisp with some flavor, too. Not a bad summer, session beer. Golden body with a diminishing white head. The light aroma had notes of brown sugar, citrus and flowers. The flavor was lightly sweet and lightly bitter. The finish picked up a little more bitterness. Light to medium body with lively carbonation. emerson430 (95) - Lakewood, Ohio, USA - AUG 6, 2008
12 oz bottles purchased at C.E. Reilly’s in New Harbor, Maine. Sharp bitterness, almost too sharp for the style. Two in a row might be my maximum on this one. I enjoyed the 6 pack and would buy it again. I wonder if this on tap would be any easier going. mcox90 (2088) - Wilton, New Hampshire, USA - AUG 3, 2008
12 oz bottle. Pours a gold color with a small white head. Nose is grainy with a mild hop aroma. Palate is somewhat thin and moderatly carbonated. Flavor is mild hops, some malt & grains. A nice little summer brew. Nothing more.
