[9300-20170625] Tap. Not much aroma. Clear, red amber body with a quick foamy off-white head. Sweet malty grains flavour has a biting bitter finish. Medium body. Interesting. (5/3/6/3/12) 2.9

Reddish colour. Aroma is really syrupy, making you expect something molasses-like. Taste is more malty but still full of overly-sweet syrupy madness. Zero balance. Yikes.

There's something about the aroma of this beer that is repulsive. However, the taste doesn't reflect that. It is VERY smoky, but there are no off flavours. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Red pour from 12oz bottle in Banff. Carmel, syrup and malts. Not offensive but nothing I'd want to have again. Their red IPA blows this away, had back to back

On draft at the Grizzly Paw Brew pub it is a light Amber color with a slight head. The aroma is malty and the taste is weak watermelon.

On draft at the Grizzly Paw Brewery tasting room. Pours a clear mahogany with an ecru head. Nutty nose. Flavors of rye. Clean finish.

341ml bottle from the sampler pack bought at their store in Canmore, poured at 2.4 celcius. minimal head and okay brown body. Soft aroma of cheezies, stinky malts, nuttiness. Flavour is sweet mustiness and hazelnut sugar mixed with molasses.Drinkable but not worth remembering.

cmacklin (1370) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 2, 2015
341 ml bottle. (5% ABV) Pours a clear, reddish amber with a small, short lived, tan head that laces. Light aroma of roasted malt and caramel. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, caramel and a hint of nuts with a slightly dry, bitter finish. Light to medium body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Mediocre.
