Unfiltered. Very dark. Nice tan dense foamy head. Not a lot of aroma. Tastes line a refined guinness. Very creamy.
Pour on tap at the brewery, dark black pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of big cocoa, roast, slight earth, into a bit of coffee, slight caramel, and toffee as well. Taste is a mix of watery earth, caramel, roast, some slight yeast into a bit of bread, toast, some cocoa, finishing roasted. hopdog (13102) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 29, 2013
On tap at the Grizzly Peak Brew Pub. Poured a black color with brown edges and a tan head. Lacing left on the glass. Thinner and somewhat water. Earth, roast, with some lighter chocolate. Art (3220) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 29, 2013
Dark pour with a dry finish. Little head retention. Bitter dry taste with some peat.

Great appearance. Great aroma. It is a creamy stout with no other flavors. No coffee or chocolate....just cream.

nitro tap at the brewpub - Pours black with a tan head and heavy lacing. It smells of roast malt and coffee. The flavor is of dry roast malt with some hops bitterness and a slight hint of chocolate and coffee. It’s medium bodied at most, kind of light, and overall pretty good. aracauna (3680) - Georgia, USA - JUN 16, 2011
Take the porter, dry it out a touch, add a bit of anise and up the hops. Good beer, but not quite as good as the porter. badnewsbeers (2312) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - MAY 28, 2011
tap at grizzly peak...typical pub style nitro stout..nothing stands out too much...basic roasted malt and chocolate, with hints of coffee and nuts... chibuck (3521) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 28, 2011
Drank at the brew pub as a part of the sampler...This was the highlight of the sampler...Pours a light black with a really good creamy and think light tan head, superb lacing...The aroma and taste both have some nice malts, chocolate, a little coffee, a nice dry finish.
Super fun and easy to drink
