Draft sampler pours amber and a off white head. Aroma of malt, grain and a touch of hops. Taste is the roasted malts and a hip finish.

Pours a dark red with a white foam head. Aroma is light caramel and roast, with a slight cardboard aroma. Flavor is sweet caramel and a cardboard-like roast. Has a light body. This is okay, a bit bland, and the roast is a bit off. miyauchi38 (1096) - chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 18, 2015

Tap at the brew pub. Malt aroma, cereal and maple. Smooth, bready with caramel and faint hop finish. arminjewell (9584) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - FEB 21, 2015
Pour on tap at the brewery, clear red pour with white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, toffee, red fruits into some grain, toast, slight grass and pine notes in there as well. Taste is a mix of caramel, toffee, red fruit, grainy notes into slight toasted bread, slight grass, finishing fairly sweet. mintzmeet (457) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 18, 2014
No aroma. In fact, little flavor. Very smooth. A lil wheatiness. Red. A lil sweet. Average.

Reddish pour. Sweetish smell typical of a red ale. Sweet fruity taste. Nothing to write home about.

Standard red ale. Grizzly Peak generally disappoints me with their beer. This was drinkable but not one I would go back to.

Draught. Spicy sweet nose. Copper with no head. Weird acidity with some caramel malt. Vague hop character. Full bodied. patrick767 (4063) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - JUN 18, 2011
tap at the brewpub - Pours light amber-orange with a lasting off-white head that laces well. There’s lots of caramel in the aroma. The flavor is very sweet and full of caramel with a slightly toasty note.
