Bottle. Clear golden colour with a small white head. Has a sweet malty aroma with hints of alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty and warming from the alcohol. Sweet malty aftertaste with lots of alcohol.

TBone (16836) - Pori, FINLAND - FEB 26, 2006
Bottled, "Grolsch Kanon" (BB 10/2006)
Dark honey color, small white head. Fruity sweetish and papery aroma, when sniffing more, more alcohol aroma is evident. Medium-bodied. Quite sweet, apple and/or banana flavor. Burning and warming alcoholic as expected with whopping 11,6% beer. As a malt liquer, this is clean and drinkable, strong enough malt profile to back up high ABV.

Poured a gold hue with a light head. Aroma was pretty subtle but you can definitely smell the alcohol. Flavor was pretty strong, alcohol wasnt hidden too well, not really my cup of tea.

Sobchak (131) - Skagen, DENMARK - DEC 14, 2005
Light amber colour. Fruity, alcohol nose. Pretty alcoholic in taste, but this is suprisingly well counterparted by a soft, honey, dried fruit sweetness and a rather soft mouthfeel, that gives a suprisingly good general impression.

wunderbier (1434) - Tampere, FINLAND - AUG 17, 2005
Medium gold hue with a thin, fizzy head. Aroma consists of pears, honey, grain, alcohol, grapes, sovent, cabbage, and hot dog buns. Theres some nice elements there, but the longer you sniff the more foulness is detectible. Corn-syrupy sweetness all the way in the flavor...with several shots of cheap, cheap vodka. Thick and syrupy texture and a struggling, light carbonation.

Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 8, 2005
(Bottle 30 cl) fully golden - almost amber coloured. Extremely strong lager type, speeded up with sugar and brewing syrup. Very potent and full-bodied and very hard to drink because of an almost burning alcohol. No real pleasure. 030503

damn fine for a malt liquor. it had a weird sour cherry aroma and the flavor was like sugar water and some weird nectar. almost like cherry flavored corn syrup. not one i care to have often, but i can very much appreciate this malt liquor. thanks to b for this one :)

Thanks Wunderbier for this one. An herbal and lemony aroma. A golden color with a large head. The flavor is quite sweet with some candy sugar, lemon sour candy, and cotton candy. A syrupy texture exists. Not bad considering the style.
