Courtesy of bierkoning. Deep golden color, small white head. Grassy and sweetish aroma. Sweet medium-bodied bock. Almost like European strong lager with its alcoholic sweetness. Some grassy notes, also in the aftertaste. Drinkable, but quite industrial bock.
Had this style last night and whilst the colour in this one is the same the head presents better, probably the only thing that beats last nights drop. Clear golden body with compact but lasting white head. Sweet alcoholic nose and on the taste the sweetness stands out too much as compared to the Andechser. mike_77 (6732) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - JUN 11, 2007
UPDATED: APR 16, 2011 Dark yellow colour. Slightly skunky, unfresh aroma. Quite a thick, sticky texture. Very sweet with only a slight sharpness.

[Bottle. Thanks to Els in Holland.] A lovely bock with cooperating notes such as a nice white head with bubbles. Aroflavor of caramel, straws, malty roastness, alcohol and metal. Nice to common dinner. Otje (678) - Veendam, NETHERLANDS - APR 11, 2007
Pfffew too sweet, sweetened beer, too bad! Sweet beer is commercially interesting here in Holland (maybe elsewhere too), but i don’t like it anymore!
Light malt nose with some peach and a sulfuric aroma i can’t put my finger on. Tastes sweet, boozy, bitter, malty, some fruit and some caramel. Finishes again too sweet for my taste. If they used less sugar this could be compared too a german maibock. Not!

bottled 33 cl. dark gold/light amber color, thick white head (later in the season same beer produces hardly any head. Fruity taste with some sweet caramel. Alcohol is well hidden, A nicely done springbok. Bart (2937) - Brussels, BELGIUM - OCT 26, 2006
Yellow, light amber coloured with a some very light carbonation and an average diminishing white head. Very hoppy, fruity and herby grassy aroma, lots of freshness. Medium body, some sweet touches, little sprankling. Finish is little bitter, with sweet hints, dry and very medium. Average one. Geiserich (4532) - Linz, AUSTRIA - SEP 7, 2006
Bottled: Aroma is light sweet, herbal notes, light grainy. Big foamy head, golden color. Light herbal hop notes. First light sweet, then astringent and light dry finish. Quite boring and unexpressive. Jerre (3678) - Waregem, BELGIUM - SEP 4, 2006
Golden color. This is a lentebok with a great character. But it’s just a lentebok. Nothing special. But drinkable. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - AUG 10, 2006
Bottle at home. Very sweet initial taste and strong. Was very good with a citrus-flavor. A smooth finish and a hint of caramel. Really enjoyed it but may have drank it too cold.
