Clear brown color, small head of large bubbles. Sweet and slightly malty aroma. Tastes like liquid sirupy caramel. Typical commercial Dutch oud bruin, which is more a granny-beer. jerohen (2273) - Bussum, NETHERLANDS - MAR 30, 2003
Dark red-brown, no head. Weak aroma, very sweet and malty flavour. Tart finish. Weak, even for a Dutch oud bruin. Mads Langtved (2243) - Copenhagen K, DENMARK - MAR 19, 2003
Synthetic, weak flavor. A bitter unnatural, artificail aftertaste.
Not as good as I would wish. They are raping this fine beer style. Motherfuckers! Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - MAR 18, 2003
Very sweet and malty. This Oud Bruin seems very mild even by Oud Bruin standards. skortila (5790) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - OCT 11, 2002
UPDATED: MAR 4, 2003 The beer looks quite good; dark amber colour with lots of carbonation and a lasting head. Sweet smell. Taste is very sweet, fruity, sirup. Very chemical.
bierkoning (13201) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - APR 2, 2002
Very sweet. Caramel and a bit of fruit. Sticky. Only drinkable when served very cold after a long mountain bike tour. jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - NOV 2, 2001
Yeast and carbonation aroma. Dark coloured, almost black. Artificial sweetness. Some flowers in the taste. Nasty little bitter aftertaste that stays for a long time. DJH-Bird99 (208) - Nijkerk, NETHERLANDS - JUN 29, 2001
Strange, very (too) sweet taste
