Draft at the Grey Lodge in Philly. Good drinkable beer. Didn't have thet bottled skunkt smell or taste.

Canned - 500ml. Nice and limpid golden body topped with a quick fading head. Decent malty nose and average bittersweet taste. Its final is quite fair for that kind of average lager. Not very complex. Without being an outstanding beer, this is definitely better than Heineken.

A completely unremarkable pilsner. Has some decent taset qualities, but nothing great. Below mediocre.

I only buy this beer to get the wire cap bottle for homebrewing. This is the most endearing thing about the lager. Because the bottle is green, oftentimes, the Grolsch that I buy in the supermarket has been photosensitized. At least they put the amber in brown bottles.

Tastes a little bit like heineken. The head is weak and dissapates fast. The taste is hoppy and grassy.

Typical pilsner from the Netherlands. Very similar in aroma to Heineken, although Heineken remains superior. Golden color, somewhat thin head. Extraordinarily fruity/sweet feel, with a nearly metallic finish. A bit too carbonated.

I think this was the first time I had Grolsh on draft. Egajdzis and I did the side by side taste test with a draft of PBR. Poured a golden color with a thin white head, much like the Pabst. However, Grolsh had a smoother taste and aroma then PBR.

1.5 litre bottle, Clear golden with a big white pillowy head. Some malt and hops in the aroma. Flavour is fairly simple, some malt then some hops, quite long lasting hops. Pleasant enough and the empty bottles are great for making flavoured vodkas or oils.

Draft... Poured a golden color with a small white head and surprisingly nice lacing. Sweet malty aroma. Sweet malty taste, this is not bad on draft, as opposed to the previous samples I have had in the green bottle. My sample here was not skunked at all. Not bad, and it won the side by side tasting I had with PBR.

Nice dutch pilsener. Easy to drink. Little more bitter then other dutch pilseners. Refreshing beer. Best with chinese food on sunday evening!
