Wypite jakiś czas temu, ocena w ramach uzupełnienia profilu. Najciekawsza w tym piwie jest niestety butelka.

Bottle. Pale yellow. Small head. Aroma is weak. Grainy and skunky. Taste is bready, grainy, a little bit of hops and some malts. Almost no bitterness and a dry, bready aftertaste. Strong carbonation. Gets its job done though when consumed ice cold in the summer heat of a Dutch Heavy Metal Open Air...

330 ml (11.2 oz) bottle. The brewery has changed from the 12 oz bottle for the US market to the international 330 ml bottle. Pours a deep golden color with a white head and lively carbonation. The packaging says "premium quality two hop recipe". These days, that does not mean much, but it got my attention. The aroma is of barley malt and quite clean. The flavor is a lot fuller than the Grolsch that I remember with a much thicker and better mouthfeel. The hop bitterness has also been increased, but the thing that stands out the most is that I am not picking up on those characteristic Dutch esters which you used to get in Grolsch and still get in Heineken. This is a much better version of the beer and worth retasting if you have not had one in some time. The brewery´s website calls this "Premium Pilsner" although the label on the bottle still reads "Premium Lager". A very nice commercial Pils which in my opinion is far better than most across the border in Germany which have original gravities which are so low that you no longer get any body/mouthfeel from them. This Grolsch "feels" more like a Pilsner Urquell without the burnt caramel flavor.

Nie najgorszy lager. Słodki, miodowy, dosyć pełny z zauważalną chmielową goryczką. Trochę taki czeski pils.

geolgau (238) - Cluj-Napoca, ROMANIA - MAR 21, 2017
Very pale, clear golden.Lively carbonation. Aroma is dank, grassy, wet cardboard. Watery. Taste is grassy(subtle hops), grainy, with a gentle bitter aftertaste. Crisp. Respectable for an industrial lager.

Inoven (746) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - MAR 18, 2017
Fles (1,5 l) gedeeld. Goudgeel helder bier met stevig schuim. Weinig aroma. Smaak en nasmaak licht bitter. Een goede gemiddelde pilsener.

Cybuch (391) - Muszyna, POLAND - MAR 14, 2017
Zapach delikatnie kwiatowy, przyjemny, malo intensywny. Barwa zlota, klarowne, piany prawie brak. W smaku dosyc slodkie, troche miodowe, wodniste. Goryczki brak, wysycenie srednie. Kiepski lager, aromat znosny, smak juz gorzej.

Buena Pale Ale.

77ships (9827) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - MAR 9, 2017
450 ml. iconic green swing-top bottle sampled. Clear apple golden, uneven head. Nose is very big oily, very vegetable, big on oily cooked cabbage, sweet, spoiled apple juice, far too big on cooked vegetables. Taste is fizzy starch, plain cooked potato, olive oil & poor sunflower oil, green vegetables but less than the nose, vegetables, bad gasoline note. Body is vegetable oil thickened by starch. Nose is worse than the smell, you can drink it, it is worse than I expected, zero idea why I expected something halfway decent. There are definitely far worse pale lagers out there. This is above average amongst rubbish.
