Bottle. It poured a clear sparkling yellow with a light golden hue and had an average sized (1-2 finger) white frothy head that diminished almost completely but did have some retention throughout thus producing some fair lacing. The aroma was pretty basic for a lager. The nose was crisp with a mild grain malt, a moderate grassy hop and a somewhat barnyard scented yeast with a light odor of wet cardboard. It tasted very mildly sweet and acidic at first, and then became slightly bitter with a mild crisp hoppy flavor at the end that stayed with you just long enough to put a nice finish on this brew. Mouthfeel was nice and light in body and a bit watery in texture with a nice light creaminess. The carbonation was quite lively, almost fizzy. Overall as I stated before, it is a nice crisp hoppy lager. One I have drank in the past and will again in the future. Very Drinkable!!

A classic pilsner/lager. A slightly off white head, dense and well laced over a clear light straw body. The nose is a classic balance of Malt, pilsner yeast and spritz of lemon. The malt leads in a well blended taste profile. Again, pilsner yeast, a hint of citrus and honey fall in behind. The malt reasserts itself in the finish

18/VI/17 - 45cl swing-top @ my mother in law’s place - BB: X/2017 (2017-931) Thanks to my mother in law for sharing the bottle!

Clear pale blond to straw yellow beer, big creamy irregular white head, unstable, falls down very quickly, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty, grains, cow fodder, caramel, sweet impression, some banana, yeast. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: malty start, grains, bitter, bit sweet, banana peel. Aftertaste: cow fodder, hay, grains, little bitter, sweet malts. Meh.

Aroma: Roasted cereals. Appearance: Gold color with clear liquid and frothy white head. Taste: Medium bitterness and a light sour touch. Palate: Light body with thin texture and average carbonation. Bitter toast finish. Overall: Strong aroma but the rest of the features are very subtle. Refreshing memory.

Gaat ook al jaren mee. Buurthuis Uilenstede eind jaren 70. Ik vind het een gewoon pils, zeker niet heel bijzonder, maar ook niet slecht.

It is written ’premium lager’ on the can, but i find nothing premium in it (except price). Just an ordinary, cheap lager. Nothing special.

Pours crystal clear pale golden with a white frothy head. Aroma is moderately malty and grainy. Taste of sweet corn, malt and little hoppy bitterness in the finish. Crisp and refreshing. Watery texture, soft to medium carbonation, light body.
