Bottle 100 cl. bottled in 2001 and cellared for almost 7 years. This poured a murky brown with a small white head and a caramellic and coockie-dough-like aroma. The taste is pretty smooth, caramel, honey and sweet malts. The finish is long and sweet without a real bite. This is pretty good after all those years, big thanks to the guy who had the patience to keep this in his cellar for all those years! bierkoning (13349) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JUL 21, 2002
Herbal aroma, caramel. Herbs, caramel and liquorice in the taste. Full bodied. Bitter finish. Well ripened and complex beer. caesar (7133) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JAN 29, 2002
It smells like ’drop’ in dutch. Don’t know the english word. Bit caramelly. Really weird. Any case, it’s not my favorite kind of taste. Clear brown color. Bit malty tastes, some sweetness in it. Man, i’m not good in describing tastes, but as i am the first one to describe this. It’s not superb, but not bad either... Palate is pretty much the same as aroma and flavor.
