Tap at the brewpub - hazy copper color, white head. good lacing. bit hoppy, floral, good malty body, red malts, medium sweet, low carbonation. finishes medium dry. really good to drink, even though far closer to an amber lager than to a Pils as advertised. Aus der Flasche getrunken (Händlerlieferung). Ordentlich gebraut, nicht so herb, wie eigentlich aus Hamburg erwartet. Grumpelmies (364) - GERMANY - JUN 1, 2017
Bottle. Copper coloured with a nice white head. Aroma is mildly fruity-hoppy. Taste is caramell, nuts, malts, raisins and something I cant put my finger on, maybe chestnut? Pretty sweet and unusual for a Pils...Low bitterness in the aftertaste. Creamy mouthfeel. Quite interesting but Im not totally convinced. TEJA (3257) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 10, 2017
Bottle from supermarket in Schwerin.
Light brown head. Amber color.
Caramel aroma (IN A PILS)!
The caramel also present in the taste with typical caramel sweetness blended with light roasted malts. Low bitterness.
This is probably a wrong labeled bottle, perhaps a dunkle? olsvammel (7289) - Örebro, SWEDEN - JUL 15, 2016
On tap at the brewpub. Bready malty smell. Similar taste, light toasty. Clean and drinkable but nothing special.

Pours hazy, copper, surprising since it’s simply announced as a pils. A nice caramel roasty smell and taste, well balanced. Some salt. Erzengel (9490) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - DEC 25, 2015
*Old rating. 33cl bottle, best before 24.07.03. Malziges, leicht süßliches Bier. Rund und süffig. StueyD (1586) - Heacham, Norfolk, ENGLAND - NOV 2, 2015
A cloudy, dark orange red coloured beer with a weak white head. A light malty aroma, bready and nutty with a hint of caramel. Medium dry mouthfeel. A mild, quite sweet malt flavour, dark bread, nutty and caramel, followed by a zesty hop bitterness that tempers the sweetness, leaving a refreshing flavour in the finish. Draught @ Gröninger Braukeller, Hamburg. Theydon_Bois (20621) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUL 24, 2015
Keg at the brew tap, Hamburg, 16/07/15.
Lightly hazed orange amber with a decent off white covering that retains well.
Nose is malt, bread, light caramel, fruit rinds.
Taste comprises caramel, fruit loaf, pastry, butterscotch, dried apricot.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Ok stuff, not sure why they call it a pils, a pretty malty - dark fruity #. Borup (15320) - Albertslund, DENMARK - JUL 15, 2015
From tap at the brewpub. Hazy amber Colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, hops, fruit and bitterness.
