Bottled. Goldeny orange colour with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma is grains, some bready malts as well as herbs and slight leathery notes. Flavour is bready and caramelly malts along with some wood and mild herbal notes as well. Mild roasted notes as well once it warms up.

bottle from bierpost.com. Clear golden colour, mid-suzed white head. Malty base, slightly hoppy with a dusty touch.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, süß, leicht würzig. Geschmack röstmalzig süß, leicht fruchtig.

StueyD (1584) - Heacham, Norfolk, ENGLAND - NOV 2, 2015
A cloudy, dark orange red coloured beer with a weak white head. A light malty aroma, bready and nutty with a hint of caramel. Medium dry mouthfeel. A mild, quite sweet malt flavour, dark bread, nutty and caramel, followed by a zesty hop bitterness that tempers the sweetness, leaving a refreshing flavour in the finish. Draught @ Gröninger Braukeller, Hamburg.

On tap at the brewpub. Bready malty smell. Similar taste, light toasty. Clean and drinkable but nothing special.

0.33L bottle. Coarse grey-shaded blond head. Deep gold to amber colored body. Fat aroma of malt drops. Notes of grassy hops. Full malt flavor. Nutty, light sweet and toasted with a nice sourish touch. Moderately hopped. Light to medium body strenght. Slick mouthfeel. Malty finish.

WillemsUrenkel (1911) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - MAR 15, 2014
0,33 l bottle. A light amber in the glass with a huge head. Low dry malt on the nose. Roast malty with hints of citrus. Low herb, dusty. Typical standard Vienna Lager. Don´t know why they call it Pils.

Thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Malty aroma. Starts quite malty, spicy, wheaty, light moldy-sourish. Notes of some fruits. Finish could be more balanced. Okay.

From a 330ml bottle in Hamburg. This is not a pilsner despite the labelling - it is more like a Vienna lager with toasty sweet caramel malts and light citrus hops on the nose and tongue. Mild dry finish. Medium bodied. Dark amber appearance with a mostly lasting foamy off-white head. OK.
