Pils? Not quite, but a decent beer anyway. Slightly sulfury nose lost a few point with me. Generally a fresh smelling and tasting beer. Deep cloudy amber color. Gritty finish. Overall tasty but not really balanced. Unbelievable atmosphere in the Braukeller. You know you are in Europe/Germany as soon as you walk into the 250 year-old establishment. It’s the kind of experience Disney couldn’t make with a million dollars. dddoty (1) - USA - JAN 28, 2007 does not count
Draught, from a mini keg served at the table. Deep amber with a small, short-lasting white head. Toasty flavor slightly on the sweet side - delightful darker "pils". OleR (4801) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 25, 2011
0.33L bottle. Coarse grey-shaded blond head. Deep gold to amber colored body. Fat aroma of malt drops. Notes of grassy hops. Full malt flavor. Nutty, light sweet and toasted with a nice sourish touch. Moderately hopped. Light to medium body strenght. Slick mouthfeel. Malty finish.
