Lekker bockbier uit Ter Apel. Mooie volle romige doch zoetige smaak. Ook het bitter is mooi aanwezig (hints van koffie). Verder: gebrande suiker en pruim.

This beer has a very present sweet-sour plum taste that is too present in my eyes. It could be very nice as a side taste but not as the leading flavour. Hops are unpronounced and the finish is short, leaves a small sweet alcoholic burn (but do not expect too much of that). The body is unpleasently light. This is a Bock that hides it’s 7% behind a far too light body and a fruity plum taste. Not my kind of stuff.

33cl. bottle Appearance Slightly hazy ruby red with a tiny off white head that doesn’t last that long. Aroma: A bit faint caramel, malts, red fruits. Taste: Sweet caramel, red fruit and then some roatyness in the finish. (quite borring.) thin-medium body, average carbonation. Typical Dutch Dunkler Bock, too sweet and typically Borring.

Bottle 33cl. Ruby red, bit hazy with a tiny off white top that fades quickly. In the beginning little aromas typical for bock beer. Nothing special. Just like it’s taste, there’s nothing really special. It’s flat bitterness with little bouquet. Average...

Very average dark bock. Has the roasted malt and spices, but it’s very flat.

Slightly hazy red brownish appearance with medium to low head. Malty caramel fruity aroma, sweet, some bitterness, medium body. Overall decent Dunkel Bock style beer.
