33cl bottle. Poured a clear medium brown with a bubbly white head. The aroma is sweet malt, sticky toffee pudding. The flavour is strong sweet with a crisp, rich, sweet malt, sugary, toffee, light alcohol palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Way too sweet for me I’m afraid. Reddish dark beer, slightly opaque, weak head.
Smell is caramel sugary fruitiness - apples with light bitterness.
Taste is quite sweet and watery, with light bitterness. Rather flat, not terribly interesting. gyhallmanti (470) - Groningen, NETHERLANDS - OCT 16, 2016

schenkt bruin in met kaki kraag. Aroma van mout, suikerzoetig, caramel, donker fruit. Smaken zijn erg zoet, mout, caramel, matig body, normale co2, plakkerig, veel te zoet dit spul en niet bijzondern
Bottle. Dark brown color. Peardrups, caramel and a hint of roast in the aroma. Malty sweet, roasty perfumed flavor with pear. Sugary. Not very good. Christos (5691) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - NOV 25, 2014
(Groningse Stadsbrouwerij Kruisheren Peregrinus) Stubby bottle 330 ml at home, served into a tulip. ABV 9%
Brown in colour, tall and thin tan head, with okay retention, leaving light lacing on the glass.
Aroma has plenty of caramel, some malts, a bit nutty too, faint alcohol, sugars, light red fruits.
Sweet taste, lots of caramel and sugars, notable alcohol, red fruits, molasses. It seems a bit too much at first but after a while it grew on me. Still, seems a bit unclean.
Medium body, good carbonation, sticky on the palate.
Not a bad winter warmer, surely to give a headache though. Benzai (15444) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - SEP 23, 2014
