Bottle 30cl. @ home.
Clear light to medium orange amber color with a average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, toffee, almonds, wood, moderate to light heavy, candy - semi-synthetic candy, brown sugar notes, light alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy overripped plum sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. 33 cL bottle, thanks to MiP. Pours slight hazy light brown/orange with a lacing white head. Alcohol heavy and barley aroma, light spice note. Flavour is sweet caramel cane sugarish with a distinct alcohol note, almost rum-like without too much thick alcohol mouthfeel. Ends with a lingering light overripe fruit note.

Ungstrup (37603) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - FEB 9, 2009
Bottled. A deep red beer with huge fluffy collapsing brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, fruit, bread, and some unexplicable spices. The flavor is very sweet malty with notes of prunes, dusty hops, bread, alcohol, brown sugar, and caramel, leading to a dry spicy, caramel, and bready finish. Thanks KimJohansen for sharing.

Bottle. Cloudy orange red coloured with a hugee off white head. Spicy aroma of dried fruits, liquorice and yeast. Sweet and spicy flavour of dried fruits, marzipan. liquorice and alcohol. Warming alcoholic finish.

oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - MAR 21, 2008
Bottled (8%). Amber colour with small slightly off-white head, which leaves nice lace. Aroma is a lot of diacetyl (toffee), alcohol and some mild hints of vanillalike notes. I came to think of Urquell because of the aroma. Flavour is bigtime diacetyl, some mild fruits, alcohol and caramel. The diacetyl is so strong, it’s hard to rate the rest of it. Alcohol burns nicely in the aftertaste.

Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 17, 2009
Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of KimJohansen. Clear, dark amber golden with a tall and lively beige head. Lightly tart aroma with some dried and overripe fruit. Quite full-bodied rich with sweet roasted malts and again dried and overripe fruit accents - almost sherry like. Subdued bitterness with a warming alcoholic finish. I simply don’t understand this beers low score. 090209

saxo (18302) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - NOV 27, 2009
Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is hazy brown. Aroma and taste are anis, fruits, yeast, malt, caramel, alcohol and spices. Nice and warming, but a little too much carbonated.

Bottled, alc. 8 % (BB 11/09)
Courtesy of bierkoning, ty Edo!
Light amber color, small creamy head. Slightly hoppy but strongly buttery, hoppy aroma - like in Czech pils! Bitterish with diacetyl, grass, alcohol, hops, some fruity notes. This is like crossover of malt liquer and Belgian tripel - yes, it is as weird as it sounds.

4.2
MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - FEB 27, 2008
Bottle, 9%. Very vinous and spicy aroma a little alcoholic, actually quite christmassy. Hazy brown colour. Small head. Alcoholic flavour, spicy rum, sugar cane. I quite enjoyed this on a cold day.

Benzai (15608) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - MAR 11, 2013
33cl bottle @ home. Dark amber brown color, small beige head. Smell malts, some sweetness, slightly leaves. Taste malts, slightly sugar, slightly yeast, some caramel, lightly sweet-bitter and a touch of grape-peel. Nice body, medium carbonation. Way better than expected.
