500ml bottle. Filmy dark orangey golden colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Caramel malty aroma with a touch of honey, grainy notes. Taste is initially moderately sweet pale and caramel malty with a touch of honey, spicy husky malty overtones, then suddenly collapses into a watery nothing; in the finish sweet, slimey, sticky with hints of honey. Slightly odd.

Herber, hell getreidiger Antrunk. Danke an pivnizub. 9/7/6/5/8/6

Light orange colored with medium sized yellow head. Sweet honey, strongly fruity with apple and appricot, some bock spiciness here as well with some oily note. Medium bodied. Flavor is sweet as well with caramel, fruits and same apple tone, thin alcohol in aftertaste. Some toffee lasts here as well.

Bottle: Copper coloured, not completely clear, mid-sized - slowly diminishing - white head; sweet malty-caramelly nose with a certain fruity touch (blackcurrant...) and a herbal-hoppy backbone; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, only medium bodied; well detectable dry herbal-hoppy traces in the slightly lingering caramelly-bitter finish. Well balanced, hoppy Bock.....

(swing top bottle) Slightly hazy, golden to light-amber colour with a medium-sized off-white foamy head. Moderately sweet and slightly bready cara-malty aroma with herbal, slightly nettle-like hops. Mildly bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Bready cara-malt-character with a dash of herbal and spicy hops; almost dry-ish bitter-sweet cara-malty and quite hoppy finish. A pleasantly hoppy pale Bock. 12.II.11
